The Lady Cards face Vanderbilt today at noon.

Early morning at the Cintas Center. Someone forgot to bring the AC adaptor for the laptop, so we'll do what we can on battery power.

Louisville's Jeff Walz is excited to be back in the field and has explained to the players that every possession counts and matters.

He expects an unselfish Vanderbilt team today at noon. A team that plays inside out. A team that will go inside and try to beat you with threes.

In Saturday action, Louisville Lacrosse extended the road trip win streak with a win over Manhattan..romping 20-2 past the Jaspers. Liz Lovejoy had five goals and Emily Dashiell four for the Cards.

Softball fell in the second day of the San Diego Classic II, Ohio University getting a 7-5 win. Bobcat batters touched Cardinal pitching for three home runs in the loss. Caralisa Connell (6-3) took the loss.

BIG EAST teams yesterday: DePaul, Marquette, Notre Dame, St. John's, all advanced to second round action. Today...besides Louisville...UConn, Georgetown, West Virginia and Rutgers tip it off.
