Field Hockey defeats New Hampshire 3-2

The University of Louisville Field Hockey squad finished their two day trip with a 3-2 win over New Hampshire on Sunday. Hayley Turner scored twice in the second half for the Cards. Louisville is now 13-5 on the season.

New Hampshire had the first score in the game but the Cardinals came back quickly to tie it when senior Nicole Youman got one in the goal. 1-1 was the halftime score.

The second half belonged to Turner, a junior and UofL. The Cards face Maryland next.

Congratulations to Pam Bustin and her field hockey team.

Talked to Cardinal Couple Co-Owner Paul last night and they are doing fine and having fun on their vacation. He reminded me to tell Cardinal Couple readers that UofL Women's Basketball has an exhibition game Saturday at 4:30 and tickets were still available. He and Sonja will have press row coverage of the women's first game in the KFC YUM Center.

If anyone attends the Tip Off Lunch for women's basketball on Tuesday, Paul would love for you to give the readers a summary of it in the comments section. I could not get tickets before it sold out and Paul and Sonja won't be able to attend.
