Softball Banquet & Clinic

The 2012 Softball Bullpen Club Dinner will be held on January 28, 2012. a silent auction will begin at 6:00 pm with dinner and the program beginning at the Archibald Room of the Galt House. The headline speaker will be Natasha Watley. As a two time Olympic Medal winner, NCAA Champion and professional player she is sure to be an inspiration as an example of someone who values her education as well as the sport which brought her there. She is still playing professionally but also is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Business after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology.

Coach Sandy Pearsall and the U of L Softball team are already preparing for the new season as they begin play on February 10-12 while participating in the FIU Combat Classic held in Miami, FL. This year follows a 38-20 season where they were runner-up in the Big East Championship and earned a berth in the NCAA regional. Seven starters and 15 letter winners return - all of which along with the new arrivals would love for you to come out and enjoy the fun and relaxed atmosphere of their home games. You can cheer them on while sitting in comfortable chair back seats of Ulmer Stadium at Cardinal Park or while sharing a camp chair, ground blanket and picnic dinner with friends while watching the game behind the outfield.

Louisville Softball also offers a Winter Holiday Softball Camp where clinics will be led by the Louisville Softball coaching staff and team on January 15, 2012. Our information is that Sessions II and III for the 13-18 year olds are still available only for those wishing to be placed on a waiting list. It appears that there is still room available for 8-12 year olds. See
