Walton verbals to the Cards
"When I got there and I spent time with the coaching staff and some of the players, it just felt right. I spent a lot of time getting to know them on the phone and when I got there everything was so genuine and I could feel that they truly care about me not only as a player but a person. It was just comfortable and it felt right so I didn't feel the need to see anywhere else." Walton told ESPN HoopGurlz.

Walton will be a senior this season at St. Mary's High School in Phoenix, AZ. She had considered Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami, St. John's and Washington before deciding on Louisville. She is Jeff Walz's first commit for the 2012 class.

Walton played with the Arizona Warriors in the FILA Juniors last weekend at the Basketball Academy in Louisville.
